Alice Markowski & Robert Kingston lost home in Eaton fire
Donation protected
Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,
I am reaching out (with permission) on behalf of my tennis mate, Alice Markowski and her husband, Robert Kingston, who have experienced an unimaginable loss due to the devastating Eaton Fire. The fire tore through their lives, destroying two of their homes and Robert’s art studio, which housed years of irreplaceable artwork, materials, and tools.

Alice and Robert are pillars of their community. Alice, a dedicated special education specialist with Pasadena Unified School District, has spent years working tirelessly to support students with unique challenges, always giving more than she receives. Her kindness and compassion have touched countless families.
Robert, a gifted painter, has poured his heart and soul into his work for decades. His studio was not just a space—it was the core of his artistic practice. Tragically, all of his paintings and supplies have been reduced to ash, leaving him without the tools to rebuild his creative livelihood.
Now, Alice and Robert are facing the daunting reality of starting over. They have lost not only their homes but also years of memories, work, and stability. While they are resilient, this journey will be long and difficult.
We are asking for your help to support Alice and Robert during this critical time.
Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a difference in their ability to heal and recover. If you are unable to donate, please share this campaign with your network.
Alice and Robert have given so much of themselves to others. Let’s rally together to give them the support they need to rise from this tragedy.
Thank you for your generosity, compassion, and for standing with Alice and Robert during this incredibly difficult time.
All money raised will go directly to Alice and Robert to help them rebuild.
