My beautiful and very talented niece, Alice Louise Christensen, has been selected to represent Australia in the Under 15 years (U15) Judo team to travel to Budapest to participate in ten days of high-level training at the well-established judo club, Budapesti Honved Judo Club before competing at the 36th Budapest Cup, a prestigious international tournament, followed by two days of international training camp.

This is a HUGE achievement and a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to develop Alice's judo skills at an international level! We may even see her at a future Olympics!

Unfortunately, there is no funding for judo in Australia so any help to get Alice to Hungary is greatly appreciated. The team is planning to fly out of Sydney, Australia to Budapest, Hungary on 11 April, 2023 so not a lot of time left.

Alice will also be celebrating her 14th birthday whilst in Budapest!
