Hello and thank you for reading about my project!
My name is Alice Hardy-Evans and I am a cellist going into my senior year of high school in Cleveland, OH. I currently maintain a 4.1 GPA.
My dream is to become a music therapist, my current top college choice for my undergraduate degree is the Berklee College of Music in Boston.
I have been accepted and rewarded a $2500 scholarship to attend Berklee's 5-week Summer Program for high school students. (July 8 - August 11) The remaining funds I need to cover tuition are $3000.
This program will open up a world of possibilities by expanding on my classical training, while also allowing me to earn credits towards my undergrad. This also increases my chances for being admitted at Berklee in the fall of 2018.
My main goal is to improve my musicianship so I can serve others as a musician and a music therapist.
