Ali Mahmood Memorial Fund
Donation protected
I had the privilege of having this remarkable young man in my elementary special education classroom in East Lansing Public Schools for seven years. Ali always had a smile on his face that would brighten up a room.

Ali was a valued member of our East Lansing School Family. Ali was a great student that loved learning! He was excited to come to school to be with his friends. Ali loved to laugh and often shared funny stories with his teachers and friends. Ali loved to go horseback riding with our class each month at C.H.U.M. Therapeutic Riding. He developed amazing skills and was so proud of his accomplishments!

Ali loved his family so much. He had a very close relationship with each one of them. Pictured below from left to right: Father, Chaudhary Mahmood, Mother, Samina Mahmood, Sister, Rabia Mahmood, Brother, Waleed Mahmood, Ali Mahmood and Brother, Abdullah Mahmood.

Ali’s family was always a loving, supportive and devoted family that only wanted the best for Ali. Ali was the center of all of their lives.
On Wednesday, August 26, 2020, Ali was on his morning walk when he was hit by a vehicle and lost his life at the young age of 25. This tragic loss has had a profound and devastating effect on every single member of this amazing family. I would invite you to join me in showing our love and support to the Mahmood Family during this extremely difficult time.
We are collecting funds at this time to donate to a charity in honor of Ali, and to allow those who knew and loved Ali and his family a means of expressing their sympathy, love and support.
Note: If you would like to leave a comment for the family with your donation, the link to add a comment is in your donation receipt email.
