Algarve International Orchestra

We are raising funds to further develop the project of the Algarve International Orchestra. This project is the first of its kind in the Algarve in that it provides amateur and semi-professional musicians of all nations, ex pat and Portuguese the opportunity to play together in an orchestral setting. The orchestra provides a place for the young and not so young to play music in a friendly environment.

 

The Algarve International Orchestra has no Government or Local Authority funding and therefore needs money to pay for instruments, music and equipment. A large cost also is the rental for the regular rehearsal venue. It is hoped that enough funds can be raised to find a more permanent home for the orchestra somewhere in the Algarve.

 

The orchestra will hope to perform concerts across the Algarve in the near future. Please help us to keep orchestral music live and accessible to all in the Algarve.
