Alfrenette Gibson's Heart Transplant Journey

Hi - I am reaching out to you today in an effort to raise funds for Alfrenette Gibson and Lavante Romer-Rolle. I have known them for over 10 years.

In October of this year, Alfrenette Gibson, took a leave of absence to undergo open heart surgery to repair a leaky heart valve. However, during the operation it was discovered that there were 3 heart valves leaking. She has had numerous setbacks. After surgery, she required a pacemaker and since then, has been in and out of the hospital, spending Thanksgiving and Christmas hospitalized.

During her recent hospitalization, a replacement pacemaker was discussed, however, on December 28th, she was informed that she would require a heart transplant. She has now been placed on the Heart Transplant List....where the waiting time is unknown.

Alfrenette is a wife and a mother with the youngest being 5.

We need help in paying for current and future medical expenses.

As Alfrenette awaits her heart transplant, we need your help filling in the gaps that the loss of several months income will mean for her family. It is a big ask; but if not their community and their friends, who else?
