Alfredo Unate "Freddy"

Hi, my name is Monica Quesada. I am a niece of Alfredo Unate aka Fred or Freddy. For this message, I'm going to just refer to him as Freddy. Freddy passed away unexpectedly on Saturday October 23, 2021. It was a total shock to us all. For a week he was in ICU because of Covid on a ventilator, sedated with a feeding tube. Friday night before his passing, he was doing good, according to the doctors and nurses. Saturday morning, his heart just stopped. Doctors and nurses tried everything they could to bring him back. Actually they did get that golden heart pumping again. But, God was ready for him. Although Freddy was in the hospital, he was not alone. He had all our love, support and prayers.

Freddy loved life! Man did he enjoy everything he did. He loved his family dearly and he loved his friends. He loved his job up in Black Hawk. I heard he was pretty darn good at it! He will be missed. He'll be missed at holidays, and family/friends "cookouts" as he called it. Life just is not the same. Fred had a heart of gold. If you asked for help, he'd do it without complaints or hesitation. Freddy was always so thoughtful and caring.

I'm asking for donations to help pay for funeral expenses. Like I mentioned before, we were not expecting this outcome. We were ready for him to come home. Anything helps. Thank you all in advance.
