Mam Tor Ridge Walk – Fundraising Challenge

Hi everyone!

Our Under 10s are taking on an exciting new challenge as they head to the Mam Tor ridge for a special team fundraising walk – and this time, it’s personal… each player is committing to walking a mile for the team

To keep spirits high and make it a true squad effort, the boys will be sharing the Captain’s Armband along the way. The route has been split into stages, with each player stepping up as “Duty Captain” for their mile – leading the group, encouraging teammates, and proudly passing the armband on at the next changeover

Event Details

Date: Saturday, 11th April

Start Time: 9:00 AM (Sharp)

Location: Mam Tor Ridge (meeting at Castleton Car Park)

Distance: 8 miles (a mile each – plus a bit extra for good measure!)

Difficulty: Moderate – with some tough climbs and rewarding views ⛰️

This isn’t just a walk – it’s a chance for the boys to build teamwork, resilience, and leadership outside of football, all while raising money to support the team.

We’d really appreciate any support, big or small, to help motivate the lads as they take on this challenge. Every donation will push them on that little bit further and a little closer to their European tournament dreams
