Alfonso’s Funeral & Transfer to Mexico

Donation protected

As many of you may already know on April 13,2019 Alfonso Ceja had a terrible tragedy after being mistakenly shot and doctors giving him
only a 1% chance to live. With all the faith and
hope we carried, as well as the amazing
doctors/surgeons at San Joaquin General
Hospital, he was able to make it out alive!
During this time Alfonso and his wife Arlene
were expecting a baby girl, Ariadne.
Unfortunately they lost their baby girl.

Alfonso's small intestine was completely
removed in order to be able to save his life,
leaving him with drains, a wound vacuum, and IV fluids inserted for the rest of his life. He was on an organ transfer list since the accident in
2019. He was awaiting for an intestine,
pancreas, and liver. Since the accident Alfonso was very strong and was motivated to recover. During his recovery he was able to walk again and start enjoying time with his family. He also found a new hobby that he enjoyed which was cooking and he was great at it. Although
Alfonso was not able to eat anything he
enjoyed cooking for others. On June 1, 2022
Alfonso was in pain and was taken to the
hospital and unfortunately God decided that
was his time to go. He has left behind his wife Arlene and two sons, Aaron and Joe.

We have made this Gofund me page for
anybody who would like to help Arlene in
these hard times. Alfonso’s wish was to be laid to rest next to his father in Mexico. Donations will be used towards transportation costs for
Alfonso to Mexico and the funeral. Arlene is
extremely grateful to everyone for their
support and prayers. If you would like to help
or spread awareness, please share this post!
Thank you
