After several weeks battling covid, it is with a heavy heart that my family and I share with you all the passing of our father, Alfonso Villanueva.

Our dad tested positive for covid on October 29, 2020. He was admitted in the ICU at Centinela Hospital Medical Center in Inglewood, CA. on November 8th where he remained fighting for his life, but unfortunately he succumbed to the effects of the virus on December 8th.
 
Our dad was born in Mexico City on May 18, 1949. Husband and companion of Guadalupe for 50+ years and father of three children, Marco, Tannia and myself, Jorge. He also leaves behind ten grandchildren and one great grandchild who will miss him greatly.

My siblings and I are using this platform on behalf of our mom, to ask for your generosity to cover the expenses of our dad's memorial services. Since our dad was the sole provider, any and all donations will go directly to our mom to cover our dad's memorial services and other related expenses. We know that holiday season is upon us and the pandemic has made it very difficult for everyone and budgets are tight but if you find it in your heart and are capable to donate we will be forever grateful, no donation is too small. 

Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for all the prayers and support. We are grateful for the outpouring of love that our family has received. We will remember our father for the caring, hardworking man that he was and  we will carry on his legacy to put family first.  God Bless you all.
