Alfie's India Adventure 2025

Hi, my name is Alfie. I am 14 years old and I am fundraising for a trip to the Indian Himalayas in October 2025.

On the 2 week trip, my group and I will be working on a community service project in an Indian school and attending workshops to learn about human rights, fair trade, environmental protection, and poverty reduction. As well as doing some trekking and camping, we will meet with the Pingalwara charity, who support local schools in the region. We will also be visiting Buddhist monasteries to learn about meditation and how to practice mindfulness in our daily lives.

To raise money for the trip, I have created a mini-brand called Summit Sweetness, which sells sweet treats and cakes (my favourite being the caramel cheesecake!) Please see the menu below for what I can bake for you, your family and friends:
