Hello everyone!
Since both of us have left Rockley college, we have been a part of a small primary school in Arusha, Tanzania. We have visited multiple times, initiating various projects and supporting the school and the local community.
Before embarking on our new mission, we are completing the preschool with one final fundraiser.
A school bus!
A handful of the graduated students are being sponsored to attend a private school located 7 kilometres from ours. The current sponsorships cover their school fees and basic necessities; however, many families cannot pay for transportation.
This results in the children not having access to the education they deserve. Our biggest priority is that the children continue to go to school, and our solution is to fundraise to buy a school bus!

Tanzanian school stats:
- Between the ages of 7 and 17, there are an estimated 5.1 million out-of-school children.
- A third of young Tanzanian children are forced to work in dangerous conditions due to a lack of education and support.
- Most children who do not attend school while young end up not getting jobs and are unable to support themselves and their families at an older age. This results in their children not getting an education either, usually due to a lack of funding.
