Join Us in Bringing "ALFA Rising" to Life!
We're the dedicated team behind "ALFA Rising," a groundbreaking documentary project aiming to shine a spotlight on the incredible stories of women who were part of the esteemed organization, ALFA (Atlanta Lesbian Feminist Alliance) founded in 1972. Our mission is to capture their voices, their experiences, and their legacies for generations to come.
Why is this project important to us? Because the stories of these remarkable women deserve to be heard. They were activists, and community leaders who helped shape our society in profound ways. By documenting their journeys, we're not just preserving history; we're celebrating resilience, empowerment, and the strength of the human spirit.
Now, we need your support to take our project to the next level. We're raising funds to interview ladies who were part of ALFA but have since moved away from Atlanta. These interviews are crucial to capturing the full scope and impact of the organization. Additionally, your contributions will cover essential costs such as equipment, travel expenses, post-production editing, color correction, and sound design.
With your help, we can ensure that every voice is heard and every story is told with the respect and attention it deserves. Together, let's make "ALFA Rising" a reality and honor the legacy of these extraordinary women.
Thank you for being part of this journey with us!
