This is Alexander.  He is one amazing kid born with cerebral palsy.  Alex is going on 12 years.  He loves swimming, Jiu Jitsu, acting, dancing, cars and video games!  He has the kindest heart and has never met a stranger.  He teaches us what the true meaning of strength and perseverance really is.  He is a loving son, grandson, big brother and friend.

Around six months old our suspicions became a reality. His development was significantly delayed.  He was very "floppy" due to low muscle tone and as he grew he was not hitting the typical milestones.  By age three, an MRI confirmed his cerebellum was affected due to a lack of oxygen at birth and he was diagnosed with CP. 

A few years ago, Alex was fortunate to receive stem cell therapy and we were blown away by the amazing improvement we saw over night!  His balance improved tremendously, bathroom accidents stopped completely and his overall strength improved.

Over the last year, Alex has had tremendous growth and a lot of changes. He is more and more independent with each passing day and he has even taken steps on his own without the assistance of a walker!  Now is the best time to go back for more stem cell therapy. Unfortunately, this wonderful therapy is considered alternative for someone like Alex.  Insurance does not cover stem cell treatments and the cost adds up quickly.

We need your help!  All funds raised will go to Alexander's stem cell therapy.  With your help we can hopefully start this therapy in September.  Alex is ready and excited for another opportunity to help make everyday life a little easier!
