Alex's transition starting fund

Hi!
I'm Alex, an 18 year old trans man living in the UK. This fund is to finally start me on testosterone - I started socially transitioning in late 2018, and have been on one of the UK GIC waiting lists since March 2019 - I still have well over a year to wait, with that timescale being uncertain due to Covid-19, and then at least 6 months on top of that before even being considered for the prescription of testosterone.
On top of not working, the money I have in government given savings is going towards starting university in September, as I will have no support then. I currently have no funds for my transition, but I am looking to start testosterone privately, as I'm suffering with severe mental health issues as a result of knowing how far away the start of my medical transition is, as well as severe gender dysphoria.
I've been debating starting a Gofundme for the past few months, as I hate to ask for help like this, but I've realised that it's the best course of action for me right now. Any shares or donations would mean the world to me, and would make me one step closer to my goal.

The limit on this fundraiser is to support costs of HRT in the worst case scenario - 2 years of fully private care with GenderGP (my preferred private service). I may also use this fund to get Testogel, a common form of testosterone medication, without a specialist, although that would be the very last resort. Depending on donations, I may not be able to start off until September 2021, as I want to make sure that I will have a stable amount of funding until I'm in university and supporting myself at least. Either way, all proceeds are going to starting on testosterone!
