Hello! My name is Alex and I am a non-binary scholar looking to get top surgery. Since I have been moving all over, I haven't had an opportunity to really start this process before. Now, in Germany, I have the pleasure to have found a surgeon who is (almost) as excited as I am. Maybe not nearly as excited, but pleased nonetheless. This has been a long time in the making, and I really look forward to the physical and emotional healing that can take place once I have a body better suited to myself! As a student, and someone who plans on staying in academia for years to come, I don't have much disposable income, though I believe that this transformation will be beneficial to my work as well as my health.
