Alex's Recovery after a Hemorrhagic Stroke

Hi, my name is Tori Montanez and I am fundraising to help pay for my brother, Alex's, medical expenses and road to recovery after he had a massive hemorrhagic stroke on January 3rd, 2023. Alex had just turned 30 years old when he decided to start a new adventure by moving in with his partner in Texas. After the move, Alex was in between jobs, but spent his days helping to care for her 2 children at home. Unfortunately, this left him without insurance when he suffered a massive hemorrhagic stroke which has currently (1/13/23) left him intubated in the ICU and without the function of his left side.

As one can imagine, the medical bills associated with this level of care are astronomical on top of the fees Alex will be facing when he eventually needs extensive inpatient rehabilitation and likely home medical equipment to help him adapt to his newfound deficits.

We are looking at a long, difficult, and expensive road to recovery for Alex, which is why we are asking for help from our friends, family, and anyone who is willing to donate or even just send prayers our way.

All of the money raised in this fundraiser will go towards Alex's medical bills, a rehabilitation center, any adaptive epuipment he may need, and whatever other expenses arise regarding his health and recovery.
