Alex's Medical Costs Need Your Support

Hi, I'm Jake Miceli, neighbor and good friend to Alex Glovitch and Shannon Rohr.

On Tuesday, 1/28/25, while on vacation in the Turks and Caicos Islands, Alex suffered a stroke. Shannon had to hire a medical transport team to get him to a qualified medical facility, Holy Cross Hospital in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. She and family members had to max out their available credit to get him transported. He is in the Neuro ICU and had surgery to relieve the bleeding and pressure in his brain.

The transportation expense was in excess of $65,000 for a jet, pilots, and medical flight staff. His surgery and intensive care expenses are climbing daily. It is unknown when or if Alex will be able to return to his job as supervisor and electrician. He is a proud member of Local 38, a father to 3 dogs, and a nature and fitness enthusiast as a member of Lifeworks where you will find him on a daily basis.
