It was a few years ago Alex was diagnosed with stage 4 renal failure that would immediately place him on a kidney transplant list and begin dialysis a few times a week, turning his family and his life upside down. Soon after, his spouse and six year old daughter began their plea to find Alex a kidney.  Blessed and grateful to receive a call from a local San Antonio man, after the story aired on News 4, they finally found a match.

However, there is still a long road ahead, you see, Alex and his spouse are currently out of work, their unemployment benefits will end soon, and their COBRA benefits will also expire in just a few short months which will find them in a deeper financial hardship. As humble as they are, they would never ask for anything from anyone, this is why I have created this fundraiser on their behalf in hopes that those who can, will donate to assist the family as Alex begins his recovery period after his surgery which is scheduled for May 6th.
