Hi, my name is Alex Brenegen and I am raising funds to help pay some bills due to last year me losing my leg due to diabetes. Last July, I went into the hospital due to a serious infection and ended up losing all my toes on my left foot. It was getting better in November, but early in December, I found out that the infection had come back and I ended up having my leg cut off just below the knee.

I have filed for disability, but I am waiting for a decision and I have bills that are piling up. While dealing with that, I also found out that I had a detached retina in my right eye. So, while dealing with my empty leg, I have also almost gone blind in my right eye. People that know me say that I like to work, and that is true, but with all that’s happened to me in the last six months, I can’t do a whole lot, which is really starting to stress me out.
