On October 10th my roommate Alex was in a car accident, breaking their foot in three places and totaling the car in the process. Fortunately they don’t need surgery but they still haven’t been cleared to work and will be stuck with a cast on for the next 11 weeks.

We’re still waiting for insurance to process everything involving the car which means in the meantime, we have zero transportation to get to work or get groceries, and being in rural VA limits the public transport we have access to.

Im currently trying to crowdfund so we can afford rent and groceries + potential car maintenance costs while my roommate is stuck in a cast. I hate resorting to this but without transportation we have zero way to stay afloat.
