Alex's Battle: Cancer and Family Needs

Hello, my name is Alex.

I am currently going through colo-rectal cancer. It was found a little over a week before Christmas of 2024. I had two hospital trips where I ended up staying a week the first time, then nearly two the second. The latter trip ending up in surgery for an ostomy bag to be added. It has been rough dealing with the chemo therapy, radiation, and the ostomy. Bills are piling up and everything we have saved is now long gone. I am desperate for any help so my family keeps their roof over their head and I can take care of the bills that are in collections.

I have a wife and 3 kids. My youngest just turned one. I have an almost 3 year old and later this year a 5 year old. I love my kids and I am both scared and worried I will lose the roof at some point. My son finished his first year of preschool just the other day and I am so proud of him. Raising 3 young kids while fighting through this cancer has been challenging for my wife and I. I cannot express enough how much I love her and all she has done and worked through to keep us going.
