Alex’s AML Journey to Healing

Our beloved brother Alex has recently been diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (a blood cancer that develops from the bone marrow.) He is currently being treated at Moffitt Cancer Center which has a wonderful reputation and we are all praying incredibly hard for his healing.  Alex is a hardworking nurse, an amazing husband and a dedicated father of three beautiful girls.  This diagnosis has completely rocked their world and although we know he is in terrific hands, we also know what a harsh and unexpected burden this is going to be for them financially. Alex is currently in the induction phase of his chemotherapy and will be in the hospital receiving inpatient treatment for at least a month while facing the possibility of a bone marrow transplant to follow.  Needless to say he will not be able to work for at least several months as his body fights this all the way to remission. If you or anyone you know is able to donate to a great cause and a truly wonderful family, it would help them tremendously and give them one last thing to have to worry about during an incredibly overwhelming and emotional chapter of their lives.
