Alex's 3rd fight

Alex Mccrone is an 11 year old boy and fighting cancer for the third time now. Alex was first diagnosed at the age of 4 in 2010 with Embryonal rhabdomyosarcoma. After defeating this demon once with a year of remission under his belt, Alex suffered a reaccurance in 2012. After years of remission post his second battle, annual scans showed a new growth. A biopsy brought the devastating news that the cancer has returned. Alex is the oldest brother of 3. His parents both work full time and manage to care for all 3 of their boys and travel back and forth between home in Salinas .CA and Lucilde Packard Children's hospital in Palo Alto CA. About a 2 hour ride each way. Paul, Alex's father is currently in furlough due to the government shut down. The family has an exorbitant deductible to cover while trying to make ends meet as well as handling travel cost and lodging for their family while Alex is undergoing treatment. No donation is too small. We are trying to come together and help this wonderful family with the financial burden so they are able to focus on Alex and help him win this battle again.
