Alex’s 30th: Pedro & Alex Take NYC!

Hello Friends, Neighbors, Family!

Well, it’s official. As many of you have heard by now, not only will I be turning the big 3-0 in two weeks, I’ll also be taking perhaps my biggest life leap yet by finally making the move to NYC on June 7.

Since deciding that being an actor is what I want to do with my life (looooong ago), doing so in NYC has been the ultimate dream. And I’m quite fortunate to finally be pursuing it alongside my best friend from back home, Pedro, who shares this dream as a filmmaker & photographer. Pedro and I have been lucky enough to secure employment ahead of time, and will be working events together! We also have an expansive network of people/artists we are psyched to reconnect with, and begin further establishing ourselves within the community.

The most challenging part still remains: securing housing. While we’ve diligently researched and scouted, the fact remains that we may not lock anything down until closer to the date. And many of these places would require rent and deposits up front.

While we’re doing what we can to get ourselves set up for success, we’re looking to cast a wider safety net to make this transition as seamless as possible, and account for any unforeseen expenses or emergencies.

In lieu of gifts for my 30th birthday, I’ll be accepting donations to help this all fall into place. For any who have known me, Pedro, or even the two of us as collaborators, you know we are not just passionate about and good at what we do, but diligent, and hungry for the future. We hope that faith in ourselves is shared by all of you too✨

All proceeds will go directly into savings to cover housing expenses, as well as any moving/shipping/travel costs that may accrue along the way.
