Alex’s 11th Grade U.S. History Classroom

Hey, my name is Alex! I am going into my first year at John F. Kennedy High School in New Orleans where I will be teaching U.S. History to 11th graders! Unfortunately, this year there is no classroom budget, so it is mostly up to the teacher to get supplies. I am raising money to get necessary materials for my classroom, as well as things that will enhance the student’s experience (books, plants, posters). Right now, my classroom is boring and bland! I want to create a space where students enjoy coming, which will motivate them to put their best foot forward. I need folders, posters, anchor chart paper, pens, markers, card stock, file organizers…and much more!
