Alex Largent Financial Fund
Donation protected
It's been nearly a year now since my brother Alex' second surgery, to remove a more severe cancerous tumor from the brain. Everyone has done such an admirable job in helping out financially, but with the struggles of the holidays comes more additional needs due to chemotherapy.
While financially it is manageable for the most part, everyone knows that risk of missing out on something that might occur in your everyday lives that could hinder one thing or the other. For Alex, it is exactly that, his chemotherapy, as it roughly exceeds $3K a month, every month. Usually, it is taken care of, but recently it has been a bit more of a struggle, and I ask that if anyone can help, even kind words to him personally, it makes it all worth it.
That being said, Alex wanted me to pass along his latest update, in his own words:
"Thank you to everyone that has helped in the past, with thoughts and prayers to us in all social media outlets, and personally.
The chemotherapy that I endure is very hard, with of course nausea and fatigue being the biggest threat. The rather large dose and the time period unto which it is required is still baffling to me. I continue to deal with it as weekly doctor appointments and monthly MRI's help keep me informed of what is going on with my body. As this month approaches, and into the New Year, I do whatever I can for my family as I continue to work, as does my wife, for our children, but of course, the stress is still there.
Whatever you all can do in any aspect is graciously received and with the Lord's help, and my family and friends, the road will become easier to travel down with all of that previously mentioned."
From myself and my family, thank you to everyone that has been there for him and will continue to do so, and we all wish you a Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year!
