This crowdfunding is for our beloved Alex-Kim. Most of you might know them as a coach/trainer, whether it is CrossFit, weightlifting, powerlifting or anywhere in the gym. Or you might be a family-friend.

It is no secret that Alex has been mentioning Top Surgery in the last few years. A lot more in the last 2 years. It has been a massive struggle with waiting lists and bureaucratic stuff.

BUT we can finally say that the wait is almost over! We got the news that this is happening much much sooner than any of us thought: within two months! Which is SUPER EXCITING!!

Having the surgery coming so much closer does bring other concerns forth, mainly financially. As most of you might know, Alex works as a ZZP'er. Which in short means "no work, no pay". As you can imagine such a surgery requires a long period of recovery, which means no work, especially in the physical fitness field that Alex is in. There is not enough time to work and save for the 3 months that will need to be covered. Think about rent + utilities, groceries, traveling for check-up visits, post-surgery aftercare products, scar tissue massages and so on.

And this is where you, the community, come in.

To make recovery smoother and less stressful, so Alex can go back to doing what they love: coaching and teaching!
