Hello Everyone! Thank you checking out my GoFundMe!

My name is Alexis Rodgers! I am turning 29 in August. I am starting a GoFundMe to help with current and future medical expenses. I just had my second Laparoscopic myomectomy.

This is invasive procedure where small incisions are made in the abdomen, and surgical instruments are inserted to remove the fibroids.

I have learned I have a predisposition for fibroids and will have to go on a fertility journey that has changed the trajectory of my life.

With the funds from this GoFundMe, I hope to start a nest egg to help with growing my small family. I will be set up with a fertility doctor. I am currently in between teaching jobs and will not be able to physically work as much this summer at my part-time job that helps me break even on bills. With these additional medical bills, I am in a more critical position than I have been before.

However, I want to thank the family and friends who are supporting me. I have a beautiful village who loves me. Any additional support will help them, help me.
