Hi everyone, i’m asking for help paying for my legal name change.
Being a girl born with a man’s name has hindered me for as long as i can remember, being bullied as a child led to me feeling embarrassed as an adult any time my legal name is required to be shown.
Anyone who knows me (even my family) knows & refers to me as: Alexis, Lexi, Lex, or Alex, not the name on my birth certificate. I hide my legal name from others; including missing important events/ appointments because my legal name is required to be shown.
To me, this is a necessity for me to move on with my life and very important to my wellbeing.
