Alexis Huebner's Lung Transplant

Donation protected
My sister, Alexis Huebner, is currently on the lung transplant list at the University of Washington in Seattle. She has a rare disease called NSIP, or Nonspecific Interstitial pneumonia. It is the scarring of the lungs. There is no cure other than a lung transplant. Our mother passed away from a similar lung disease 4 years ago. Alexis' 4 children live in Kelso, WA, which is 3 hours away. Their ages are between 16 and 25. Alexis is already to the point of progression of her disease that she can  no longer live at home since she needs high flow oxygen which can only be provided in hospitals. Her children go up tp see her every week and get hotel rooms which is starting to take a toll on the whole family. Even after transplant my sister will have to find a place to stay for 3 months close to the University. As you can imagine, her kids would
love to spend as much time as they can with her at this time. We would be forever grateful for any donations we would receive for my sister.

Thank you so much,
Angie Tingey (Alexis' sister)
