Hello friends and family!

With deep sadness, I’m reaching out to inform you that on Wednesday, February 12th, we lost our dear, Alexis McLaughlin. Alexis was an only child to her single mother, Jeralyn, she was my daughter’s best friend and a dear friend to many. Alexis was 16 years old, she was a beautiful, smart, happy, kind and loving young lady whose presence brought a smile to all those who knew her. Alexis had a beautiful singing voice and loved writing poetry, fashion, skateboarding and playing video games. We will miss her dearly and we will remember her as the positive & kind young lady she was.

Alexis’s sudden passing has stunned and saddened all of us who knew her. Although we could never ease the pain her mother and family are going through, we would like to help alleviate some of the unexpected financial stress. I have set up a GoFund me account to assist with the funeral, memorial, and during this difficult time of grieving and mourning. All donations are greatly appreciated and your kindness will allow Alexis’s family to feel the love of our community and the sadness we share in the loss of a young child.
