The story of Alex is one I am grateful to have gotten to know. Alex spent his early childhood raised by his loving mother Lisa and his grandmother "Nan". I was lucky enough to meet Alex in grade school. We would go on to continue a 30+ year friendship. Alex formed the backbone of my friendships and groups of friends. Alex enjoyed playing music and was the founding member of several bands that would play locally through his years in high school. Music was one of Alex's great loves. Alex was always the level-headed, rational member of our group of friends. He could tell a tale with a smirk from across the room. He was known to be quiet and reserved, but also funny, dedicated, and reliable. Over the years, Alex's kindness touched many. Alex was always always there with an open hand to lift others up. Alex never expected anything in return and always went above and beyond whatever was asked of him.
Alex also enjoyed cars/ working on cars, playing video games, and spending time with friends. Alex was a consummate advocate for others and often went out of his way to help those in need. Alex was known for his kind smile and gentle voice.
Sadly, Alex is no longer with us. There is an emptiness that we will never again be able to fill from his absence, but along with this, we, his friends know, that he would want us to celebrate the person he was, to share the music he enjoyed, and tell the stories that he was a part of.
Though Alex is no longer with us, his light will live on in our hearts and minds forever.
To show our support for Lisa, Alex's dedicated mother, we ask that you please consider donating to help cover funeral costs and memorial expenses. All money will go directly to Lisa Kostaneski.
Thank you for your kindness and consideration,
