Hello, we are the proud parents of our 20 year old daughter Alexis DeGraw. She is a sweet, outgoing, kind and a loving girl. Alexis was born with some special needs that have held her back in life and hasn't had all the opportunities that her peers have had. Alexis was born with Autism and ADD on the low spectrum as well she is Intellectually Delayed. So like many of her peers she wasn't able to attend a accredited college . However after much time and research we have found a non-profit non accredited private college which works with special needs. Read below and learn alittle about why this is the best place for her to attend.

At Barnabas Prep, we're a collegiate program and a partnership.
We're committed to helping your student become the very best version of themselves away from home. Our Christ-centered program based in Branson, Missouri is uniquely designed to equip young adults with disabilities to achieve high levels of independence.

Our commitment to coming alongside families who have a child with special needs and are looking for a program that is specifically for adults extends far beyond the classroom, with a focus on community integration and enriching experiences that promote social growth and independence. At Barnabas Prep, where every student is supported on their unique journey of learning and personal development.

About the Program
This is the opportunity for your student to gain the independence that you always hoped was possible. They'll gain valuable life and social skills, from making a grocery list, building a resume, learning to cook, how to introduce themselves and so much more. Our curriculum aims to develop all of their skills, while keeping Christ at the center of all we do.
As well as job skills and just general life skills that will allow them the to live independently.

What's Included
This nine month program runs from mid-September to mid-May, and follows an academic calendar. Students live in houses with their peers and Fellows, the young adults that do life with the students. Breakfast is made by students in their houses, while lunch and dinner is prepared by our chef in the dining hall. Students enjoy clubs, social activities, field trips, a fall retreat and our annual class cruise.

We asking you to help us by making a donation to fund her college. There are very few if scholarships/grants to assist us with these funds. We can't thank you enough.
