Alexis’ BIG Ask
I love to go big. A year ago I gave birth to my son and it was, as everyone describes, unbelievable, life-changing, beyond words or syllable or sound.
I was alone because of pandemic restrictions.
My husband had COVID.
I also had COVID.
My son was the first baby born at his hospital to infected parents. They established a protocol based on him.
Didn’t I tell you, I love to go big? How big? After his birth and having my husband home, we decided to grow our family again. William George will turn 1 on April 1st and our second baby boy will be born this May.
This time around I don’t have COVID - but I do have cancer. I was diagnosed with Stage IV Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in early February at 23 weeks pregnant.

A one year old.
A husband
2 dogs
Another baby
And Stage IV Hodgkin's Lymphoma
I love to go big - but this, sometimes, feels impossible. With a toddler, a newborn on the way, a house and a working husband (IN THE MIDST OF A PANDEMIC) I realize we could use some help. We have impending medical bills, alternative treatments for myself, extra childcare for WG and of course a newborn on the way, (and all that entails!). We want to make sure family has what we need to get through this and put this behind us.
Plus, I’ve proven - I am great at being unpredictable and although my prognosis looks great, we don’t know what lies ahead. It’s beyond BIG this time.
People always ask what they can do - and here it is; you can donate to help me prepare for another BIG year ahead.
Lots of love,
Alexis, Tim, William George and Baby Boy #2
