Alexis Carey, 11.26.09 - 10.24.23

It is with a heavy heart that I share that my younger sister Alexis Carey left this world on October 24th, 2023 from complications related to meningitis. Our sweet girl was only 13 years old when she passed away.

Alexis was an amazing young lady who was taken from us far too soon. She was a bright student, a talented athlete, and a great, dependable friend. She loved to read, sing, swim in the pool, and hike the mountains looking for rocks to collect. One of her greatest passions was cheerleading on the Barstow Aztecs squad for her younger brothers’ football team.

Alexis leaves behind 3 brothers, 4 sisters, cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents, and her parents who are heartbroken without her.

We are looking into several ways to keep her memory alive, in the meantime we ask for your support in funding her memorial and celebration of life.
