Support Fealy Family-VRHS Swim Team
The Vista Ridge swim team met this past Saturday, September 7th, in the parking lot at Vista Ridge HS to caravan to the annual swim team season kickoff event on Lake Travis. The VRHS swim booster club sponsors the team to a fun afternoon of team building on a Party Barge on Lake Travis.
As everyone was standing around and waiting for the last few team members to arrive, a sophomore swim team member, Valyn Fealy passed out in the parking lot. She fell forward and hit her lip on a car door and then she fell next backward and landing very hard onto her back and head. She became conscious after a few seconds, but had to be rushed by ambulance to Cedar Park Hospital for further examination. She was cleared after testing for any heart condition and any skull fracture, but she did suffer a concussion. Valyn is currently at home resting and recovering. She currently still has a bad headache and dizziness.
We started this Go Fund Me Page to help Ms. Fealy with the cost of medical expenses incurred on this day and also to help with any medical costs for follow-up doctor visits. Ms. Fealy is a hard working, single mom, but these medical costs will definitely put a stress on the family's budget. Any help will be very appreciated.
