Cremation costs.

Alexia Lee Baughman, my sweet grandmother, was born on May 26th, 1948 (75 y/o). She was a sister of 14, Vietnam veterans widow, Mother of 2, Grandmother of 5 and a great grandmother of 7.

On march 30th my grandmother left this earth to go be with her son and husband. We expected it to come, but not this soon. That being said,

we are left with her space rent, utilities, final bills, etc.. As well as the cremation costs, as the VA will not cover veterans widows. Grandmas house is FULL of memories and priceless antiques that mean so much to many. I spoke with the social security office as well as the VA, the remaining amount of her funds are to not be touched, and even when they are available we will not have access to them because “next of kin”, which can take up to 4 months.

I am reaching out to other resources who may be willing to help.

Anything would be greatly appreciated, prayers and thoughts over our family while we mourn the loss of or beloved, lexie.
