My name is Kelly Osorio and I am starting this fundraiser for Alexius Cambi.
On March 1, 2015 Alex and his family received the terrible news that he was diagnosed with brain cancer. Tumors were found in different parts of his brain and he had to get surgery done to analyze the tumors. Turns out Alex did not have brain cancer but instead lymphoma. Lymphoma is a form of cancer that affects the immune system - specifically, it is a cancer of immune cells called lymphocytes, a type of white blood cell.
Alex has stage 4 CNS Lymphoma. A very rare kind for children like Alex. All over the country there have only been 5 cases. At Arkansas Children's Hospital they have never had a case like this. So his doctors are getting in contact with other doctors all over the country who have treated his type of cancer.
His parents are having financial troubles. Paying off medical bills for a cancer patient is very difficult. The costs of treating lymphoma can be $57k or even more. They need all the help they can get. Even if you donate a small amount it is still a big help for them. Please donate to Alex.
