Hi everybody- especially you photo-enthusiasts and dear friends and beautiful spirits....

So I've recently discovered a truly amazing dream-camera, the Fuji FP-1,  it's an instant camera made during the 1990's and it produces just the most beautiful polaroid images!  

The retail cost for this baby about $2000 (including some film)... and with my husband being in graduate school, it's not high on our spending plan!  So I came up with this idea...

If you are able to donate $255, then I will happily provide you with your choice of either a 2 hour digital shoot (in Los Angeles, within 1 year of today.  Some suggestions: model portfolios, headshots, baby/family shots, maternity, pet portraits (my personal favorite!))  I would normally charge $550.... but I wanted to make it a sweet deal for us all!  OR we could schedule a polaroid photoshoot (after I aquire the dream camera, do a polaroid shoot, 10 shots)...

For those that don't know me, I'm a professional photographer, based in LA, and I've worked with lots of amazing clients and magazines like Marie Claire, Glamour, Seventeen, Outside, Surfer etc....  I love shooting digital, but there is just something purely magical about this instant-film camera... I want to go back to analog, and create one-of-a-kind images... I want to slow it down and be really present to what I'm doing, and I want to offer this opportunity to my clients too!

(You might notice that I also added a lens to my wish list... just in case I end up surpassing my goal!)

oh- and I just had a wild idea... if you donate 1900, then I will shoot your wedding!!!  Seriously... 7 hour wedding shoot, must be in LA... I'm willing to offer this to 2 lucky clients...
