This GoFundMe page has been set up by close friends of the Boyle family — Steve, Steph, and their children Frankie and Alexa.

A 16th birthday should be filled with joy, excitement, and anticipation for the future. However, for Alexa Boyle, her 16th birthday brought heartbreaking news: she has been diagnosed with leukaemia.

Doctors within the NHS have acted quickly, and Alexa is now under expert care at a London hospital.

We are asking for support to help ease the financial pressure on the family during this difficult journey. Significant costs lie ahead, including travel to London for treatment and the impact of time off work in a self-employed household, which means income is not guaranteed. These pressures add to what is already an incredibly challenging time.
