On February 26, 2024, Gary Mosher came home to heartbreak and the unexpected death of his daughter, Alexandria “Alex” Danielle Mosher, who was only 34 years old.
There will never be a good answer as to how or why this happened. There is so much grief and pain. Her last moments are something we will never be privy to. Yet there is one truth that will help us heal: her last moments do not define what she meant to anyone that had the privilege of knowing her.
Everyone is encouraged to join in remembering and celebrating who Alex was: a loving mother, a passionately caring friend, and an artist. She is remembered for her kindness to those in need among many other attributes.
Alex left behind her precious 5-year old daughter, Adeline “Addy” Sunshine, Addy’s father Timothy Pacheco, and her parents, Gary Daniel Mosher and Donna Jean Rizzo-Mosher. Gary, a longtime 25+ year SAG-AFTRA actor, opened his home to Alex and is covering the costs for her funeral and celebration of life. Tim will have a long road ahead as he navigates single parenthood while keeping Alex’s memory alive for their daughter. Our goal is to ease the financial burden on the Mosher and Pacheco family to help with expenses for the funeral and celebration of life, the new challenges of raising Addy as a single parent, and anything else the family needs as they go down the difficult path of healing.
Please join us in donating anything you can to help. Whatever you can spare would be greatly appreciated. Lastly, we’d be so grateful if everyone could share a cherished memory and/or photo of Alex, allowing us all to celebrate what truly defines her.
If you or someone you know is struggling or in crisis, help is available. Call or text 988 or chat 988lifeline.org.
There will be a Celebration of Life - Gary is in the process of researching vendors. Any advice local to Los Angeles County would be appreciated.
