Hi, my name is Kristy Gusick and I decided to create this fundraiser for our friend Alex.

As many of you know, Alex needs to have a complete hysterectomy for serious medical reasons and will need to miss work for 6 to 8 weeks while she recovers. As a single mom, this will be a huge financial hardship for her, as she depends on her work as a stylist as her main source of income for her and her daughter.

I know many of us really want to help support Alex during this challenging time, especially since she’ll likely be having the surgery during the holidays which is traditionally her busiest time of year.

Alex did not ask me to start this fundraiser, I just offered to do it because I know many of you who are friends and/or clients of hers really want to join me in supporting her.
