Alexandra Gilmore - School Board District 3

A Seat at The Table  As an advocate for children's academic success, Alexandra has watched racial disparities, and endured racial disparities with her own children. This has compelled her to run for Hillsborough county District 3 School Board open seat. The only way change can come is to open opportunities for children of ALL colors and if we ourselves are sitting at the table. It is beyond time for the tables to turn for our children's academic success. As a mother of two boys, a tutor, a substitute teacher, a community volunteer, and advocate for children Alexandra is here for the children that are constantly ignored. She is now reaching out to the community - her community, her friends and family for their support in her initial campaign stage.
