Fight for Alexandra "Allie" Ewing

Alexandra "Allie" Kelly Ewing is a bright, kind, effervescent 11-year-old with a passion for life. She has a heart of gold and an infectious fun-loving spirit. A natural-born leader with the perfect mix of compassion and strength, who needs our help, so she can continue to thrive!

Allie is currently fighting for her life in the ICU after an emergency surgery due to an unknown, aggressive tumor on her brain. We have no diagnosis, and the doctors continue to run tests upon tests. We are in desperate search of answers, a diagnosis, proper care, and most importantly, a potentially life-changing second opinion.

Allie has already undergone an initial surgery to relieve tension on her brain. They have placed a shunt to drain excess fluids. They have found a tumor on the right hemisphere of her brain, the size of a golf ball, that is continuously growing at a rapid pace. It is affecting Allie's motor skills on her left side. The current doctors surmise that due to the size and location of the tumor blocking cerebral fluids, it would cause more harm than good to operate. We will not accept that, and neither will our Allie.

Allie has so much more life to live and love to give. As we know, 2nd opinions within healthcare can be crucial and life-changing. We will not rest until we exhaust every possible avenue for care and alternative opinions. With your help, donations will first and foremost go to Allie's treatment for a specialist and a hopeful second opinion. Additionally, it will assist with the care, upkeep, and maintenance of our family, while we get Allie all of the proper care she needs. A little bit about us -

Our girl Allie is a happy, active member of her school and community. She plays softball, and soccer, is in the Edison Band, and takes part in the Edison Jets Organization. She takes trips to NYC to make care packages for the less fortunate and loves joining in on charity and community events. Allie and her parents are highly active in their community, with both parents being part of the Edison Jets Football and Cheer E-Board (Dad is currently Vice President & 10U Head Coach + Coach & Board Member of Edison Boys Baseball League, and Mom is Secretary of Edison Jets Football and Cheer).

Allie's family is a testament to their strength, perseverance, and enduring love. Allie's mother, along with serving her Community, is a stay-at-home mom to Allie's non-communicative autistic sister. She was also the former PTO Co-President of John Marshall Elementary for 4 years. Allie's father, also an active Community member, is a self-employed truck driver working constantly. With your donations, we can aid in Allie's care and assistance to her family, along with easing life burdens. It truly does take a village!

Any donation to help little Allie & our family is beyond appreciated. We know times are tough - even a share & a prayer speaks volumes. We will continue to update this page with any and all breakthroughs. Thank you!
