Hi my name is Angelica and Alexander is my husband and this is My husband Cancer story!

To feel and notice your breast discomfort and warmer than normal ending of June 2018, we made an appt for a mammogram mid July 2018, sent for a biopsy in August 2018 on the breast and lymph nodes to then get the news you have breast cancer. To make an appointment with an Oncologist October 2018 then getting a 2nd opinion November 2018 and confirmed it was Metastatic Breast Cancer meaning at this point to get news that you have Breast Cancer and lymph nodes and to hear you have 3 months to 5 yrs of life expectancy is hard… but is all depending on if you decide to do Chemo or Radiation Therapy, so ok you would think that putting poison in your body you would think that will kill you even faster. So we went through intravenous chemotherapy and immune therapies for 2 yrs all different types available and possible, then he was told it has spread to the bones March 2019, with MRI, CT scans and Echos every three months we found out in May 2019 he he has a few tumors in the brain, with a concern with one on the center of his eye nerve and and a few others that will affect his motor skills so the only option was radiation therapy since there wasn’t any chemo that will penetrate the brain, and work the rest, so after three Radiation therapies - various areas and then whole brain radiation he ended up with side effects (blindness, memory lost and some speech impediments), he was taken off intravenous chemo December 2019 to continue with 2 oral chemo 2 times a day, which one was affecting his liver counts so it was continuously being monitored (lab works weekly) they were continually adjusting it. He had his first seizure November 7th 2021, in the hospital for a week a CT scan and an MRI done we were told he has Leptomeningeal disease and cancer also has spread to the Lung and Liver. We asked now what options we have to hear the last thing you would want to hear Hospice to live a quality life for the remainder time that we have which we were told weeks upto 6 months; Mind you after his Seizure he lost his coordination so now he needs assistance to eat and drink, the one thing you would figure is to have some quality time but in reality in his case he has been retracting daily, now no speech, not eating, barely any drink intake and just to imagine it can be any time before he goes. I have so many mixed emotions and just want to run away thinking that all this would go away if I leave him, he is such a wonderful person and had so many things he wanted to do and so many places we wanted to go now just watching him wither away in the bed, I want to wake him, feed him but he doesn’t want to eat if anything a bite and that’s it, give him to drink and is a sip or two, he spends his time mostly asleep sedated since he gets agitated, anxious and wants to hurt himself - is understandable since he gets frustrated because he can’t express or speak as he wants to.
He is a person that would give his shirt to help others, food of his plate to feed them and help them in anyway possible, he has been burnt many times after helping others but continued, now that he is where he is where are they, some don’t want to see him this way, some are too busy, some just just ghost him or the situation, I am grateful that God has given me the chance to hear his breath, look at him rest and even with our hard times I wouldn’t trade it for the world… Thank you God for allowing me to be the one to care for by Husband, BF, Soulmate, my confidant you have been the one that shown me what true love is, to love myself and so many other things that I will do my best to not let you down! I love you eternally!

I lost my job June 2020 from Covid and cared for him 24/7, with the hopes of him getting better…. Now I have pray to find the funds for this inevitable expense!
Thank you in advance for your help!
