It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of a beloved son, brother, and friend—Alex Smith. Growing up in Plaistow, NH Alex was a natural athlete, and eventually gravitated towards the sport of wrestling. He would go on to wrestle at the Division I level at the United States Military Academy at West Point where he would graduate and commission as an aviation officer. As a Blackhawk pilot Alex continued to touch the lives of those around him.
Although Alex is no longer with us, we would like his legacy of athletic endeavors and selfless service to live on in a memorial scholarship. In order to create a self-perpetuating scholarship fund we need a minimum of $20,000. The goal is to establish this scholarship through Alex’s high school and assist those pursuing athletics or military service with their financial needs.
