Hi everyone, I would like to share our story about our baby Alex and ask for your help… When I first found out that I was pregnant in May I was in shock. Having another baby was not in my plans and was using birth control that was suppose to last 10 years. Well, God had other plans for me and gifted me with a baby boy who continued to grow and fight despite the complications of having an IUD in his space. We welcomed this new person into our lives and grew to love him and couldn’t wait to welcome him into our lives. Then at 24 weeks pregnant , my water broke way too early putting me into the hospital on 9/8/23 on strict bed rest until he could be safely delivered. Because I was over an hour away in Tampa , Jose had to take a leave from work to take care of our other 4 children . During this time I developed insulin dependent gestational diabetes and was being monitored daily.. Due to the lack of amniotic fluid my beautiful Alexander made his way into the world on November 1st at 12:11am at a weight of 3 pounds 11oz. Soon after he was diagnosed with pulmonary hypertension and was put on a ventilator. After hours of not getting better it was discovered his blood vessels did not form well enough to carry enough oxygen through his little body, and after putting up a good fight, our little angel gained his wings to join his beloved family members in heaven. During the long weeks in the hospital we exhausted our income due to Jose being unable to work. The main power line to our home shorted out while I was in the hospital which will require $6000 to fix and our bills have fallen behind. After all this we still will need to pay for a service to put our Alexander to rest. We are looking for a fresh start after what has been the most traumatic experience of our lives. We are just lookin fro get back on track and have enough for a service for our Alexander. I hope to pass this forward one day to another family in need. Thank you everyone for taking the time to read our story, and if you are unable to help, please just sending a prayer up to our baby boy Alexander is enough.
