Alexander R. Mitchum - February 13, 1996 - August 10, 2024

Hello all,

A few weeks ago my family suffered an unimaginable and crushing loss, Alex Mitchum was the victim of a fatal car accident. Alex was an adored brother, a beloved uncle, a wonderful nephew, a cherished cousin, an unforgettable friend and an irreplaceable son. Alex left an incredible mark on our world and we are all better for having been a part of his world. The aftermath of Alex’s death has affected my family in ways that reach far beyond grieving, and my hope is that this fundraiser will help elevate some costs related to their loss so they can focus on trying to heal.

After something terrible happens people often ask, “What can I do?”, “How can I help?”. These questions are usually impossible to answer. But here is a chance to help, to give the Mitchum family a little room to breathe, a little hug from afar. The days, weeks and years to come seem insurmountable, but let’s help show as much support to Alex’s family as we can. Any amount you can give will be so very humbly and gratefully received.
