Help bring Alex Jones home to family

I am Alex's Mom. Our youngest son, Alex, recently passed away in Bangkok, Thailand. Before Alex can be brought home to the United States, many laws, rules, and customs must be fulfilled to satisfy the Thai authorities. They will not release Alex’s remains until all standard procedures are completed. Alex is currently in the forensic morgue awaiting the first step of the process, which is an autopsy. A Thai funeral will then be conducted followed by Thai cremation. A Thai funeral home that is willing to become involved with an American death will then need to be located so they can receive Alex’s ashes to prepare for the flight back to the United States. We will need to purchase a plane reservation to bring him home. An American funeral home representative will need to wait for Alex’s flight to land so he can then take possession of Alex’s remains for safe transport to the funeral home. All of this must be paid before the Thai government will even begin processing Alex for his return home to us. If we do not or cannot pay for all of these services, Alex will be cremated by the State, and put into an unmarked paupers grave with the remains of other unclaimed bodies. Rod, Paul, and I cannot allow Alex to be thrown away in an unmarked foreign grave. The thought of Alex’s remains being discarded with little to no regard for who he was as a person is too much for us to bear. Rod and I wish we were in a financial position to cover the time sensitive costs of bringing our son home. However, neither of us make enough on Social Security/Disability to afford the things that would normally come naturally to us as a family. We humbly ask you, our family and friends, to make any contribution, big or small, to this very important cause. Please help us bring our beloved son home.
